I think I've found it. I think I've found the perfect house. Harry, Ron, Ginny, I'd love your input. Do you want to come and take a look with me sometime? | | Saturday, July 17th, 2010 | | 7:29 pm |
It really is a shame that I haven't kept up with my reading. But I've been doing some writing, and I'm very pleased with what I've written thus far. I'll be looking for a proof reader and/or an editor when the time is right. Please keep this in mind. I would love to have someone give me some assistance with this, as I'd like to see it get published. It's an account of the second great war, and I believe that it would be beneficial to many for the word to spread.
Private to Ron Come home early, would you? I've got something to talk to you about. | | Friday, July 2nd, 2010 | | 11:40 am |
I think it's time to find a new familiar. It's been too long since Crookshanks passed, and it's time for me to find another companion. Besides, Ron, I mean. And my patio-garden is doing wonderfully. Maybe I can start growing some catnip for my soon-to-be-found friend. | | Wednesday, June 30th, 2010 | | 4:48 pm |
I misplaced this journal with a stack of books I took back to the library a few days ago. I certainly hope I haven't been needed. | | Friday, June 18th, 2010 | | 7:13 pm |
My most sincere condolences to the friends and family of Jeremy Andrews. You are in my thoughts and prayers tonight. It's been a while since I've felt such darkness befall the Wizarding World, and it sickens me a little. A lot. With all of the other strange occurances, it makes me wonder... what's going to come next? What new and terrible event will pick us up and shake us by the ankles?
Hannah, if you need anything at all, please don't hesitate to send me an owl, or have someone get in contact with me. I'm available should you need anything. | | Saturday, June 5th, 2010 | | 8:26 am |
I took my journal out of the trunk. I'm now Mrs. Hermione Weasley, which is such a strange thing to write. I've been practicing my new signature a lot, and still don't have the hang of it. | | Monday, May 17th, 2010 | | 10:14 pm |
I am disgusted by the things I've been reading in this journal recently, so it's going to sit at the bottom of my old school trunk as long as I feel it is necessary.
I apologize in advance if my lack of return comments is offensive. I simply feel that I have nothing positive to say. | | Thursday, May 6th, 2010 | | 9:35 pm |
It's a hard weekend to get through every year. The memories and the sadness, the pride and the remembrance. I have been humbled all week by memories of that fateful battle oh-so long ago. A week of remembering, a week of meditation, a week of calm. And now I think I'm finally ready to force my mind back to my life. I know I will never truly forget the sacrifice that my friends and family made, but I also know that they would want me to get on with my life--the life that they sacrificed so much to protect.
Now I only hope that I can live my life to its fullest, to make them proud of me. The last thing in the world I would want is for their sacrifice should be in vain.
Private to Ron After a week of thinking on it, I think we should run off and get married. Just you and me. I think life is too short not to. | | Thursday, April 29th, 2010 | | 3:48 pm |
Private to Ron My boss has just informed me that I need to put a few hours in on Saturday before the game. I'll be swamped tonight, all day tomorrow, and most of the day on Saturday until the Puddlemere game... i won't have time to run out and pick up a bottle of wine for the party at Oliver's. Can you run out and get something? I hate to ask, but I'm so very swamped.
I love you. | | Monday, April 19th, 2010 | | 8:50 pm |
Sometimes, even though bad things have happened, it paves the way for really wonderful things to happen. I suppose it's a good thing that I look for a silver lining around dark clouds. The attack in Diagon Alley was a tragedy, as was the loss of Marcus Belby. My most sincere condolences to all who were injured or hurt during the quintaped attack, and to the families of the victims. In the aftermath, though, of the attack, I have strengthened some friendships, and improved on my relationship with my wonderful fia boyfriend. Another big change; I'm moving. If you need to reach me, I'll be in Ron's apartment. And Harry, if you read this before I speak with you, I'd love a hand in moving some furniture. | | Saturday, April 17th, 2010 | | 8:20 am |
Private to Ron I've been thinking about everything, and I've come to the conclusion that it would make economic sense for us to move in together. We can share a one bedroom apartment, and with our combined income we can have enough money saved for a nice set of wedding bands and a down payment in practically no time. Especially if we tighten our belts a little.
What do you think?
PS - I've found it a little hard to keep our secret. But it feels all the more exciting. | | Wednesday, April 14th, 2010 | | 6:34 am |
It feels so wonderful to be home. Now if only the nightmares would stop Though, my flat was a bit of a disaster when I got here. It took me a day to catch up on sleep, (I've never been able to sleep well in a hospital) and another day to clean, now I'm stuck here with nothing to do trying to take it easy, but I've run out of things to read. Again. I just don't seem satisfied with my current stack of books. I just keep thinking about what might have happened in that horrible attack
I should probably make this entry private. | | Monday, April 5th, 2010 | | 11:25 am |
Private to Ginny (and Harry) I need someone to talk to. Can I come over tonight? I'll bring wine. I need a girls' night.
I hope you don't mind. | | Sunday, April 4th, 2010 | | 1:10 pm |
For those who celebrate: I wish you a wonderful Easter. For those who don't: I wish you a wonderful day. | | Tuesday, March 30th, 2010 | | 11:02 pm |
I bought a new book today. A couple, actually, but the one I'm most interested in is Dragon Tamer. I'm sure many of you know of it... it's an account of a Dragon Tamer from the early eighteenth century. It's remarkable that they found his manuscript in the back of the cave where he'd been living amongst the dragons for so long. I wonder who else has read this novel--it was only just published a few weeks ago. Penny? Charlie? It's really worth a read, even if you're not all that interested in taming dragons.
Private to Weasleys Does George have a copy of Dragon Tamer yet? I was thinking about getting him a copy for his birthday. | | Saturday, March 20th, 2010 | | 3:16 pm |
The 20% off coupon for Honeyduke's is a rather dangerous thing. I think I spent far, far too much money today patronizing the shops in Hogsmeade. I'm glad that the village is prospering, though, and am more than willing to travel a little further and spend a little more to support the local, Wizarding community.
I hope everyone had a beautiful day at the faire. | | Thursday, March 18th, 2010 | | 12:20 pm |
I hope everyone had a wonderful Saint Patrick's Day yesterday. I spent the day chasing Leprechauns, and game home bruised from raining gold and covered in a thin layer of sticky, beer residue. It was a very, very long day, but I'm glad to say that it's over. It seems that most of the people in my department have very little experience working with actual Magical Creatures. That is to say, the Ministry Members who work directly with me in research. And it shouldn't be surprising, as it's not a requirement for my position. It was a little irritating that they were so dependent on me to help round up the loose Leprechauns.
But, all being said and done, I learned a lot about the creatures, and am writing up my findings. Perhaps after personal experience and a bit of research, I can put my findings into a paper to be published. | | Saturday, March 13th, 2010 | | 10:08 am |
It felt so wonderful to sleep in this morning. Normally I wouldn't but this week has been fairly stressful. Saturday is my catch-up day when it comes to housework and visiting with my family, but this week I'm just so tired. I really just want to lay on my sofa and watch the telly all day. Maybe go to the cinema or something. Perhaps I'll order-in some food for supper, and really veg out. |
